Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the five rights of medication administration to minimize errors.
  • Deliver patient care tailored to the specific needs of various age groups.
  • Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments on all patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
  • Effectively assess and manage pain, utilizing appropriate techniques and educating patients and families on pain management strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses to treatment.
  • Develop and implement educational plans for patients and families, assessing the effectiveness of learning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information in compliance with established standards.
  • Alert physicians regarding any abnormal laboratory or test results.

Qualifications:
  • Current Connecticut RN License.
  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BLS Certification.

Working Conditions:
  • Requires significant manual dexterity and motor coordination.
  • Involves potential occupational hazards.
  • Physical demands may include lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to various environmental factors, including odors and noise.
