ASM Global, a leading provider of public assembly facilities, is seeking a skilled Cook to join their team at the Irving Convention Center. As a key member of the culinary team, this individual will be responsible for preparing high-quality food products and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and organize the production of all manual food products as assigned by the Executive Chef.
• Assist the Executive Chef in maintaining standard recipes and adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary working environment, adhering to health and safety codes.
• Prepare menu items as directed on production sheets, ensuring quality and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve menu quality and guest satisfaction goals.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification from an accredited culinary school preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a kitchen environment; facility/industry experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety, and guest service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
