The Laser Technology Research Specialist position is crucial for our operations.

We offer a unique opportunity to engage in a high-tech environment, collaborating with leading global entities in aerospace, medical, semiconductor, and clean energy sectors.


Key Responsibilities:


Provide strategic leadership to enhance our global technology center's capabilities, contributing to the development of our next generation of products.


Collaborate with the business development team to conduct customer application trials, evaluating laser technology for various applications.

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, guiding products from initial concept through to market readiness.


Develop machine tools and processes utilizing Laser Ablation, Laser Drilling, Laser Welding, and/or Electro-Discharge Machining.


Drive improvements and automation in machinery as the industry evolves towards advanced manufacturing techniques.


Provide applications engineering support to both internal teams and external clients.


Assist in sales efforts for both machine tools and component manufacturing, including customer interactions and technology demonstrations.


Create comprehensive documentation to support application developments and communicate findings to clients.


Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:


Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Lasers, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


Demonstrated experience in laser processing techniques such as ablation, micromachining, welding, cutting, and drilling.


Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.


Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.


Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.


Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
