We are currently in search of a dedicated individual to enhance our business growth through the role of Proposal Coordinator. While full-time candidates are preferred, part-time (30 hrs./wk.) applications will also be considered.

Compensation: $58,000

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PROPOSAL COORDINATOR:

  • Organizes, coordinates, and oversees activities that support sales strategies, including the preparation of proposals, sales meetings, events, and other document submissions.
  • Collaborates with internal marketing personnel, project managers, and external partners.
  • Primary responsibilities include:
  1. Articulating the LJB narrative and project differentiation strategy through proposal documentation.
  2. Technical writing - completing and/or directing the creation of proposal documents, statements of qualifications, letters of interest, government forms, and client questionnaires as necessary.
  3. This role often involves composing or refining responses to technical, essay-type inquiries.
  4. Engages in proposal strategy to support sales professionals.
  5. Maintains client databases and all project information for proposal generation utilizing the firm's CRM system (Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint).
  6. Manages personnel and internal qualification data for proposal preparation.
  7. Coordinates, assembles, and prepares materials for client interviews and meetings in line with corporate branding standards and desktop publishing guidelines.
  8. This position requires some proficiency in basic graphic design and photo editing.
  • Provides general assistance for sales activities conducted by sales staff, including coordination with other sales and marketing personnel as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE PROPOSAL COORDINATOR:

Education:
  • Equivalent of a bachelor's degree in marketing, business communications, English, or a related technical field.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a professional services environment. Previous experience in architecture, engineering, or construction firms is preferred.
  • High proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe products, along with a foundational knowledge of graphic design, photo editing, desktop publishing, and complex databases are required. An ideal candidate would possess advanced graphic design skills and familiarity with Adobe InDesign.
  • Preference for 2+ years of experience with federal and state proposal formats, including SF330.
