Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in radiologic technology.
  • Graduation from an accredited school in radiologic technology.
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull.
  • Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members.
  • Ability to provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes.
  • Administering medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitoring and evaluating patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on the unit.
  • Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transporting patients as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
