We are seeking a highly regarded local government professional to serve as our next Township Manager. This position directs and administers all executive and non-legislative activities of the Township, except as otherwise provided by statute or ordinance.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and administer all executive and non-legislative activities of the Township
- Select key department heads and other management positions and professional consultants
- Ensure the goals and objectives of the Board of Commissioners and Administration are met
During the first 12 to 18 months, the selected candidate may be asked to address the following priorities:
- Advance the Strategic Plan to account for progress in each identified area of focus
- Partner with the Board of Commissioners to support a newly established Economic Development Corporation
- Facilitate a review of long-term revenue projections and identify options for enhancement
- Maintain a strong culture and organizational leadership
The salary range will be negotiable and market competitive, starting at $200,000, depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Desired Qualifications- Any combination of education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree (MPA or equivalent preferred)
- Ten or more years' executive level management experience for a similarly sized municipality, township, or county, or an organization of similar complexity
