We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lending Representative to join our team at Community Financial System, Inc. As a key member of our Direct Lending Department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the success of our lending operations.

• Communicate credit decisions to customers and perform thorough credit analysis and investigations in accordance with our bank's policies and procedures.
• Provide step-up authority to Direct Loan Representative I employees and DLR II employees with lesser authority, ensuring seamless lending operations.
• Assume lending authority and underwriting responsibilities for employee consumer loans requests, ensuring timely and accurate decision-making.
• Collaborate with Supervisors to ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently, providing support as needed.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to Supervisors, highlighting key lending metrics and trends.
• Stay up-to-date with changing lending regulations and policies, ensuring ongoing compliance and adherence to industry standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field or two years of experience in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years' experience in lending, with a proven track record of success in credit analysis, decision-making, and customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
