Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the surgical field and necessary supplies and instruments for delivery to the field.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of scrub experience or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to work with exposures to body fluids, waste and chemicals, radiation, hazardous materials, anesthesia gases and life-threatening diseases.
  • Ability to move heavy patients and equipment, bend, squat and kneel as needed, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to deal with stressful, changing environments.
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
  • Ability to communicate, cooperate and work well with others.
