We are seeking highly motivated and talented graduate students in engineering to join our team at Los Alamos National Laboratory. As an engineering graduate intern, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in various engineering disciplines.
What You Will DoAs an engineering graduate intern, you will be responsible for:
- Working on research and development projects in various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, nuclear, materials, and civil engineering.
- Collaborating with experienced engineers and researchers to design, develop, and test new technologies and systems.
- Conducting experiments and data analysis to validate theoretical models and improve existing designs.
- Developing and implementing new methods and techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering processes.
To be eligible for this internship, you must:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited engineering graduate degree program.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Have a strong background in computer programming, computer-aided design, and finite element analysis.
- Have experience in laboratory or shop settings, demonstrating attention to detail and commitment to safety.
