We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Care Teacher to join our team at the City of Roseville, CA. Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement engaging and educational activities for children, including sports, games, arts and crafts, and social activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment, ensuring the well-being and safety of all children.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, providing excellent customer service and communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless program delivery and support, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall child care experience.
- Monitor and report any issues or concerns related to site maintenance, children, or parents, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Assist with record-keeping and reporting, tracking and completing subsidized child care paperwork as required.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education and child care.
- Minimum of 3 hours/day for 50 days in a 6-month period as a paid or volunteer staff member in a child care program.
- Equivalent to completion of 12th grade or higher, supplemented by 12 units in early childhood education, recreation, elementary education, or related field.
- Possession of CPR and First Aid certificates within 6 months of hire.
