Position Title: Room Attendant

Supervisor: Housekeeping Supervisor

Department: Housekeeping

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Overview: Responsible for the thorough cleaning and stocking of all designated guest accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect additional cleaning supplies and guest room essentials from the Housekeeping area.
  • Clean and maintain a set number of rooms daily, adhering to established standards.
  • Sanitize guest rooms while addressing any guest inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure a tidy and organized workspace at all times.
  • Restock guest room amenities as required.
  • Report maintenance issues to the Supervisor or Engineering team.
  • Keep linen storage areas orderly.
  • Prepare and stock supplies for the following day.
  • Check and empty vacuum bags as needed, ensuring they are not full.
  • Provide courteous assistance to guests.
  • Handle lost and found items, reporting and delivering them to the Housekeeping office.

Work Schedule: Part-time, availability required during weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: This role requires a minimum of some high school education and at least six months of relevant experience.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.

Team Dynamics: This position is part of a structured team within the department.
