Senior Cloud Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a Senior Cloud Consultant, you will be responsible for helping our customers implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve complex technical problems.
You will work closely with our customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored cloud solutions that meet their requirements. Your expertise in cloud computing, architecture, and security will be essential in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for our customers.

Key Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud computing solutions for customers
- Work closely with customers to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions
- Develop and maintain expertise in cloud computing, architecture, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends
- 7+ years of experience in design/implementation/consulting with distributed applications or equivalent education experience
- 3+ years of software development tools and methodologies
- 5+ years of IT implementation experience
- Integration of AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP, etc.
- Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.)
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
- 7+ years' experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
- Experience in technology/software sales consulting or equivalent skills
- Professional experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWS
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience managing highly available data center operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness, including networking, server hardware, and storage
- Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
