Job Title: CBRN Policy and Strategy Subject Matter Expert

We are seeking an experienced FEMA CBRN Policy and Strategy SME to support the DHS FEMA, Office of Response and Recovery, CBRN program. This role will involve working closely with the Office of Emerging Threats Professional and Technical Services Contract.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic guidance on current and innovative solutions relevant to CBRN policy and strategy.
  • Contribute to high-level vision development for complex projects, influencing objectives and driving results.
  • Develop functional procedures and policies reflecting detailed knowledge of CBRN areas.
  • Lead in-depth research in support of studies and analyses.
  • Assess and analyze key policy issues and nuclear security events, promoting and protecting FEMA/CBRN equities.
  • Support tasks may include CBRN Research and Analysis, Policy and Doctrine Support, Special Projects, and Planning support to the Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Nuclear Program Plans.
  • Specialized Technical Assistance and Operational Support, CBRN Training and Exercise Support, Interagency Modeling Atmospheric and Assessment Center (IMAAC) Program Support, Regional Coordinator Support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area of expertise.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in CBRN policy and strategy, with previous experience supporting DHS FEMA required.
  • DHS FEMA CBRN experience is highly desirable.
  • A TS/SCI Security clearance is mandatory.
