- Identify audit risks and develop appropriate response strategies, ensuring compliance with internal controls and risk management procedures.
- Participate in business development activities to help expand the firm's client base, contributing to proposals and presentations for potential clients.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry practices, providing technical guidance and support to clients and staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing, and prior experience in a managerial role preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards, with proficiency in accounting and audit software.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
