Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Execution Trader to join our Trade Operations team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the efficient and timely execution of Equities and Fixed Income at scale. The Execution Trader will analyze trade execution performance metrics, such as trade fill rates, slippage, and market impact, to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently execute all platform activity in equities, fixed income, and mutual funds
  • Develop and execute pre and post-trade analytics
  • Conduct research and analysis on various securities to assess their liquidity, trading volumes, and execution risks
  • Evaluate counterparty performance relative to firm benchmarks
  • Ownership and understanding of order routing and EMS activity
  • Post-trade and end-of-day trade reconciliation
  • Automate legacy operational processes to drive efficiency and accuracy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external counterparties
  • Act as a point of contact for trading-related inquiries and resolve any trading-related issues promptly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, business/finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in equity or fixed income trading

AssetMark offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $85,000-$100,000, as well as additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
