Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Engineer III to join our team at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Identify and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
