Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team. As a Vascular Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining patients' personal information and medical history, preparing treatment areas for ultrasound examinations, and applying non-invasive ultrasound techniques to diagnose blood vein, artery, or vessel diseases or disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain patients' personal information and medical history.
  • Prepare treatment areas for ultrasound examinations and position patients on ultrasound tables.
  • Explain ultrasound procedures to patients.
  • Apply non-invasive ultrasound techniques to diagnose blood vein, artery, or vessel diseases or disorders.
  • Make adjustments to equipment to produce high-quality ultrasound images for doctors to interpret.
  • Compare patients' most recent scans to previous results and assess diagnostic information.
  • Prepare and provide summarized ultrasound findings to doctors in a timely manner.
  • Handle hazardous substances and biological waste as prescribed, as well as sterilize equipment.
  • Document processes and maintain patient records.
  • Stay informed of advancements in vascular technology.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of current experience.
  • RVT Certification.
  • ARDMS Certification.
  • BLS (AHA or ARC) Certification.
  • Covid Card.
Work Environment:

This is an in-person position.
