Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Grocery Stock Clerk to join our team at Redner's. As a Grocery Stock Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the grocery department.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in unloading merchandise and transporting stock to storage areas.
  2. Open cartons and price items accurately, if needed.
  3. Keep store shelves fully stocked according to tag allocations.
  4. Assist in building store displays and rotating perishable merchandise.
  5. Control damaged goods and maintain a neat appearance according to company dress code policy.
  6. Abide by all company policies as stated in the Employee Handbook.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise and maintain inventory levels.
  2. Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
  3. Ability to lift up to seventy pounds at least forty percent of the time.
  4. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude is essential.
