Job Summary:
At Complete Health, we are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support our clinical team in providing exceptional patient care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians with examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient interviews and record vital signs, including pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and ensure all necessary equipment is available.
• Assist physicians with procedures, such as injections and laboratory tests, and maintain accurate records of patient information.
• Schedule appointments, manage medical records, and perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:
• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Proficiency in medical software and equipment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for extended periods, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Medical Assistant Scope of Practice:
• Physicians may delegate a reasonable scope of clinical procedures to competent and knowledgeable medical assistants working under their direct supervision.
• Medical assistants who have been granted the certified medical Assistant (CMA) (AAMA) credential may give verbal and/or telephone orders to registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs).
