About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Charge RN to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Charge RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient care and unit operations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • upon hire: RN license in state of hire and wherever care is provided.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • One (1) year Nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
