Position Overview:

Role Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images under the supervision of the Radiology Director and Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate diagnoses and delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
1. Image Production:
- Utilize appropriate techniques to capture quality radiographs.
- Employ metal markers correctly and document relevant patient history.
- Verify physician orders prior to conducting examinations.

2. Equipment Operation:
- Operate the Kodak CR Imaging System efficiently.
- Ensure proper loading and maintenance of imaging cassettes and film.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues as necessary.

3. Patient Interaction:
- Provide clear communication to patients and colleagues.
- Assist in patient transfers and ensure comfort during procedures.

4. Training and Supervision:
- Mentor Radiology students during their clinical rotations.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
  • Experience: Preferred two years in Radiology Technology; new graduates are welcome.
  • Certifications: ARRT certification required; CPR certification preferred.

Working Conditions:
Exposure to various biological hazards and the need for physical stamina are essential components of this role. The ability to lift and move patients, as well as equipment, is required.
