Position Summary:
The Junior Civil Engineer will collaborate with the team to ensure the integrity of various civil engineering projects, including airfields, drainage systems, buildings, and facilities. This position requires the application of professional engineering principles to effectively manage and execute civil structure programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plans for the repair and maintenance of facilities, including roads, culverts, and pipelines.
- Provide technical expertise for analysis, planning, and problem-solving related to engineering projects.
- Collaborate with project team members and external organizations to refine project requirements and ensure alignment with user needs.
- Create comprehensive construction documents, including drawings and specifications, utilizing advanced design software.
- Oversee construction management for projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Work closely with contracting personnel to accurately convey project requirements in design documents.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. A familiarity with USAF civil engineering processes and prior field experience is preferred. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in commercial and institutional building design and construction, and proficiency in CADD and Microsoft Office is essential.
