Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech, language, and communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and Implement Intervention Strategies: Create and execute personalized intervention plans to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Therapy Sessions: Deliver high-quality therapy sessions using a variety of methodologies and resources to promote effective communication and language development.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other specialists to enhance client outcomes.
  • IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development of speech and language targets.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active state license or eligibility to secure licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
