We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team.

About the Role

In this position, you will be essential in supporting the mental health and educational development of our students.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving classroom management and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Facilitate communication between the school, parents, and external mental health professionals.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student support plans.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on topics such as child development, behavior management, and mental health awareness.
  • Keep accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in school psychology and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • Educational Requirements: Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification: Active Pennsylvania School Psychology credential required. Valid NCSP credential from NASP is optional.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skillset: Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, educators, and administrators.
