About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at UNC Health Appalachian.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting professional nursing staff, and contributing to the education of patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for procedures
  • Obtain and record accurate patient information
  • Administer treatment and personal care procedures to patients
  • Contribute to the education of patients and their families
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and completion of an accredited CNA program in North Carolina
  • Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant in North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation and Benefits

This is a competitive salary position with benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off. The estimated annual salary for this role is $33,600-$41,600 based on experience and location.
