Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of ten years of specialized experience in real estate financing
  • Proven track record in advising financial institutions throughout the lifecycle of financing transactions, including negotiations of term sheets, documentation, and closing processes
  • In-depth knowledge in diverse areas such as construction financing, acquisition financing for homebuilders, development and vertical construction loans, healthcare real estate, dealer financing, financed ground leases, bridge and mezzanine financing, EB-5 debt, syndications, forbearance agreements, and deed-in-lieu transactions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for clients in real estate financing transactions
  • Draft, negotiate, and/or oversee the creation and negotiation of loan documentation
  • Conduct and/or supervise comprehensive due diligence
  • Provide value aligned with the firm's core principles
  • Leverage the firm's national resources and tools to cultivate new business opportunities
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications Required:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law institution
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • At least a decade of concentrated experience in real estate financing
  • Portable practice is advantageous
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
