Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Experis. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage on-going compliance with HACCP and Food Safety Plans to meet current SQF and NSF requirements, FDA and FSMA regulations, and other State, Local, and third-party audit requirements.
  • Provide site leadership for certifications, including internal audits, mock recall, mock crisis management exercises, food fraud and food defense risk assessments, Kosher audits, Organic audits, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, etc.
  • Manage Quality Assurance and Sanitation teams in the development and ongoing maintenance of plant quality systems, including documentation of policies, procedures, internal audit programs, standard operating procedures, sanitation standard operating procedures, and documentation of product specifications.
  • Ensure full adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and Sanitation activities to maintain high productivity and process/product integrity in a clean, food safe facility.
  • Manage in-process and finished product testing to comply with customer specifications; provide COA documentation when required.
Requirements:
  • SQF and NSF requirement and FDA and FSMA regulations knowledge
  • Progressive Quality Assurance experience in food manufacturing (Supervisory experience)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively both internally and externally to the organization
  • Detail oriented, independent, self-directed
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong Computer skills in MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
