Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Cat Scan Technologist/IV Cert. This role involves performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures, utilizing computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic and CT procedures, ensuring accurate interpretation of physicians' scanning instructions and administration of contrast materials.
  • Position patients and radiographic equipment to capture high-quality images, utilizing knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy to determine the optimal number of slices required.
  • Assess patients' information and status, following appropriate procedures to ensure accurate identification and examination.
  • Operate CT scanners, utilizing computer skills to correct software errors and perform quality control checks.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to clarify examination requisitions and ensure accurate documentation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • New York State license
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment
  • Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography
