Shuttle Driver

Job Summary:

The Shuttle Driver plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to our facilities. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for verifying, loading, and delivering products from local vendors while adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick up and deliver fresh food, fruit, doughnuts, and sandwiches from vendors to the facility on-time and within delivery-specific windows.
• Ensure products are within proper HACCP guidelines at all times.
• Drive safely, data entry of accurate OBC (on board computer) delivery information and DOT logs.
• Provide excellent customer service while working with various vendors to ensure proper delivery, placement, and delivery of product.
• Complete all safety-related training, including but not limited to monthly and quarterly online training.
• Assist in picking of product, staging, and loading of product within the warehouse, when necessary, and as needed.
• Drop off and pick up repaired vehicles from repair shop.
• Deliver and pick up special orders for customer when necessary.
• Complete pre and post trip truck inspection and operate within the safe driving protocols.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age; have and maintain a valid drivers license for the state living in; must be able to pass a DOT physical and maintain active status on DOT Medical Card, pre-employment drug screen and background verification.
• Clean MVR, consistent with our Safe Driving Program.
• Must be able to operate hand held tablet (if applicable), cell phone, and manual and electric pallet jack (where applicable).
• Must be able to read, write, and speak basic English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months previous driving experience.
• Previous customer-service experience preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
