An esteemed general contractor seeks a seasoned Construction Director to oversee high-profile commercial construction projects. Suitable project experience may include healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, mission-critical, or data center backgrounds.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience with projects exceeding $10 million in value is highly desirable.
  • A stable work history is essential.
  • Strong experience in ground-up commercial construction (renovation work will also be considered).

Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding project success through effective safety, schedule, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction management.
  • Fostering business development through client relationships, proposal writing, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Establishing professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Administering contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, purchase order agreements, etc.
  • Collaborating with team members and clients.
