Electrician Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our facilities.

• Perform electrical inspections on tribally owned or controlled facilities to ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Washington Administrative Code (WAC).
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including new installations, retrofits, and repairs.
• Perform electrical work with emphasis on 480v /240v 10 *0 = Phase 120/240 DECIA.0.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate electrical work.
• Ensure all electrical work meets the minimum code requirements to protect occupants from serious injury or death due to fire or electrical shock.

• High School Diploma and completion of vocational training for Journeyman Electrician.
• Journeyman Electrical Card certified in the State of Washington.
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, climb, and bend.
• Current with Continued Education Training (CET) required to maintain certification.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.

• Enrolled Yakama Preference.
