Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team at Advocate Christ Medical Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging Department.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, computed radiography, and PACS equipment to ensure quality examinations.
- Determine appropriate radiographic technique and position patients using immobilization and support devices to ensure optimum film quality.
- Adhere to department standards of radiographic quality and deliver patient care in accordance with department standards of continued quality improvement.
- Ensure a secure and safe patient and work environment by maintaining continued awareness of safety hazards.
- Develop leadership skills and professionalism through participation in department and/or hospital-based committees and continuing education programs.
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
- Current RT License in the State of Illinois by IDNS/IEMA.
- Current ARRT Registry/eligible.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
