Banquet Houseperson

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at HHM Hotels. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will be responsible for setting up, breaking down, and servicing meeting rooms in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms according to banquet event order forms and documents to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Transport heavy materials, such as staging and tables, from storage to meeting rooms in a safe and efficient manner.
• Break down meeting rooms and return banquet items to storage in a neat and organized fashion.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in meeting rooms and ballrooms.
• Respond to guest requests for service changes and provide information on hotel services.
• Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet set up or customer service experience preferred.

Work Environment

• Varied work schedule, including alternate shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and reaching.
