Yard Hostler

We are seeking a skilled Yard Hostler to join our team at Staffmark Group. As a Yard Hostler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently maneuvering yard goats and trailers within our dockyard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and maneuver yard goats and trailers from dock to dock, switching out empty trailers with full trailers.
• Make 10-30 moves per shift, requiring the ability to blindside back in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre and post-trip safety checks, chock rear wheels, and be aware of potential safety hazards.

Shift Availability:

4am-2:30pm, Sunday through Wednesday, and 4am-2:30pm, Wednesday through Saturday.

Requirements:

• 23 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• 1 year or more of yard hostling experience within the last 3 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations and/or preventable accidents on driving record in the past 36 months.
• No DUIs or reckless driving in the past 5 years.
