Flexible Palliative Care Physician Opening

Position Overview:
- Practice Environment: Inpatient care setting
- Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours along with on-call responsibilities
- License Requirement: Must possess an active Texas medical license
- Shift Availability: Options for part-time or full-time roles, including weekend on-call duties (approximately one weekend every five weeks)
- Patient Load: Manage a team census of 40-50 or an average of 8 patients daily per physician
- Electronic Medical Records: Familiarity with Epic system is preferred
- Additional Information:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is required
- The care team consists of 3 physicians, 2 fellows in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and 5 Advanced Practice Providers
- Limited call and weekend coverage responsibilities
