Nuclear Fuel Services Engineer

Job Summary

The Nuclear Fuel Services Engineer will be responsible for evaluating situations, selecting and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor modifications. This role will involve designing and conducting tests or experiments, evaluating and correlating data, organizing and planning work, and preparing written reports, drawings/sketches, and technical documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate situations and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria
  • Design and conduct tests or experiments, evaluate and correlate data
  • Organize and plan work, prepare written reports, drawings/sketches, and technical documents
  • Apply understanding of manufacturing technology, technical process specifications, engineering policies and procedures, QC procedures, department goals, customer needs, and contract requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 4 years of experience required
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information in writing and verbally
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multifunctional team
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance
