- Patient Education and Support: Provide patients and their families with clear and concise information about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams through effective communication, active listening, and empathy, ensuring that everyone is informed and engaged in the care process.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of nursing.
- Education: Associate degree in nursing
- Certifications and Licensure: RN-Registered Nurse for the state where care is provided, BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider, ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NIHSS-National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale within 90 days, TNCC-Trauma Nursing Corp Course, Emergency Department within 180 days of hire if required by entity
- Experience: 2 years of recent relevant experience
- Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated general knowledge and competence with regard to nursing theories, concepts, and practices; medical terminology; anatomy; and physiology. Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, best practices regarding patient care and privacy, and changes in local/state/federal regulations.
- Competitive Compensation: $77.30 to $104.61 per hour
