Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense and deliver medications accurately and timely
  • Demonstrate competence in department automated dispensing and storage devices
  • Troubleshoot dispensing issues
  • Prepare non-sterile and sterile products accurately and timely
  • Enter medication orders in the computer system and/or navigate within the electronic medical record to facilitate patient care
  • Utilize automation and technology to maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition
  • Address customer and team member concerns accurately and timely
  • Triage phone calls from customers and resolve issues or hand-off to another team member as appropriate
  • Assist in training and share knowledge with pharmacy team members, residents, and students
Requirements
  • High School Graduate
  • 1 year of experience
  • Good mathematics skills
  • Attention to detail
