Job Summary

McLaughlin Research Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer III-ES to support the development, maintenance, and upgrade of torpedo test systems in support of torpedo programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and software engineering, with experience working with DoD system engineering and integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain test equipment for torpedo systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless operation
  • Design and implement electrical and software systems for torpedo test equipment
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with DoD standards
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
  • 15 years of professional experience in systems engineering
  • Experience working with DoD system engineering and integration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
  • Experience working with torpedo systems and test equipment
  • Knowledge of DoD system engineering and integration standards
