Job Overview

Position Summary: The role involves delivering therapeutic interventions aimed at fostering recovery for individuals grappling with substance use disorders, adhering to established clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling, case management, crisis intervention, and client education while maintaining accurate records under the guidance of licensed professionals.
  • Collaborate with clients and the treatment team to create and adjust personalized treatment plans, continuously assessing client progress.
  • Facilitate community referrals and coordinate care with all relevant professionals, ensuring awareness of local resources that meet client needs.
  • Deliver case management and individual skills training as outlined in treatment plans.
  • Lead or co-lead group sessions focused on recovery-related topics.
  • Utilize ASAM levels of care to inform recommendations for client treatment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders, applying this understanding in client care.
  • Engage in regular communication with supervisors for procedural clarifications and clinical support.
  • Collect specimens for drug screening in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure timely and compliant documentation of clinical records, including billing, in alignment with HIPAA, Medicaid, OMHAS, and CARF standards.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to maintain licensure requirements.
  • Embody and promote the values of Racing for Recovery.
  • Represent Racing for Recovery at community events.
  • Meet established productivity benchmarks.
  • May lead support group meetings following the Racing for Recovery framework.
  • Perform additional duties that support the mission of Racing for Recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of CDCA and QMHS certifications from the State of Ohio.
  • Endorsement from a member of the Racing for Recovery leadership team.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to meet insurance criteria for driving company vehicles.
