Position Overview

LS Direct is seeking a dedicated Business Intelligence Analyst to enhance our expanding analytics division. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed business decisions. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will collaborate with our analytics team to facilitate the daily execution and evaluation of direct marketing initiatives and performance metrics. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring precise and timely support of our organizational objectives while serving our clientele effectively.


Work Environment

• Location: Remote and in-office hybrid arrangement.

• Work Schedule: Primarily Monday to Friday, with potential for occasional weekend or holiday work.

Key Responsibilities

· Extract and synthesize insights from both primary and secondary data sources to assist clients in identifying their business challenges and growth strategies.

· Oversee multiple projects across various clients and sectors.

· Create visual representations that emphasize trends while adhering to industry best practices.

· Contribute to the comprehensive documentation of processes and standards within the analytics team.

· Review and enhance existing workflows to improve efficiency and quality.

· Handle large datasets from external collaborators and LS Direct's internal data systems.

· Continuously refine customer scoring models and predictive analytics methodologies.

· Collaborate with diverse teams and departments on various projects and initiatives.

· Generate customer lists based on specific business requirements and LS Direct's proprietary algorithms.


Qualifications

· Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, and/or Alteryx.

· Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.

· Capability to interpret and analyze transactional and secondary data sources.

· Strong multitasking abilities in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment, with an emphasis on communication and project management.

· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

· A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a proactive approach to challenges.

· Experience in marketing analytics or data analysis is preferred.
