We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the Primrose School of Centennial. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and helping them explore, discover, and understand the world around them.
Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a group of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive classroom environment that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
- Provide verbal recognition and acceptance to children while setting clear and consistent expectations for their behavior.
- Assist in other capacities as determined by the Director or designee.
- Early Childhood Teacher qualified (minimum level 2 on PDIS) is preferred.
- Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
- Must be available for flexible full-time hours, Monday through Friday.
- Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
- Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
The Primrose School of Centennial is an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational childcare experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary-aged school age.
Each Primrose school is a privately owned and operated franchise, and the respective Franchise Owner is the employer at each school.
