Job SummaryWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Operational Maintenance Associate to join our team at Allegiant Stadium. As a key member of our custodial team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our internal and external areas. This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas with specialized equipment, ensuring the overall appearance and integrity of our venue.
Key Responsibilities- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Ensure the cleanliness of public areas, office spaces, locker rooms, break rooms, and common use spaces. Maintain assigned areas and equipment in good working condition.
- General Cleaning and Trash Removal: Assist in general cleaning, trash removal, using bailer and trash compactors.
- Cleaning Equipment and Supplies: Utilize cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, sweepers, pressure washers, and extractors for building upkeep. Apply wax for VCT floors, stripping and burnishing of areas as needed.
- Surface Cleaning and Sanitization: Wipe down glass, stainless steel, and other surfaces removing prints and marks. Sanitize all restrooms, locker rooms, and office spaces in assigned areas following procedures and as trained.
- Maintenance and Repair: Keep all equipment properly maintained, clean, and free of marks. Clean and sanitize all restrooms and locker rooms in assigned areas following procedures and as trained.
- Supply Management: Change batteries in soap and paper dispensers. Refill soap, hand sanitizer, and paper dispensers as needed. Restock carts and closets.
- Specialized Cleaning: Use pumps, electrostatic sprayers, misters, or foggers with chemical application as needed. Perform carpet care, upholstery cleaning, and sanitization.
- Water Management: Support our water management program.
- Biohazard Cleanup: Clean-up biohazards according to proper procedures as trained.
- Event Support: Move and re-set chairs, bales, and other items relating to a specific setup.
- Reporting and Communication: Report emergencies and maintenance needs to manager and/or dispatch.
- Supply Requests: Submit a list to the Supervisor, as needed, of custodial supplies, equipment, and tools necessary to clean the building. Stock supplies; transport materials with electric pallet jack and/or carts.
- Lifting and Mobility: Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Physical Demands: Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, climbing, and kneeling.
- Environmental Factors: Work indoors and outdoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as excessive noise, seasonal heat and cold, hard-to-reach and unclean work areas, and hazardous material and equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Requires attention to detail, good organizational skills, and must be friendly and courteous.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of tools, supplies, and methods used in custodial work. Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
- Time Management: Ability to do multiple tasks simultaneously. Works effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule to produce accurate results.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, with the ability to work in cooperation with others.
- Appearance and Demeanor: Professional appearance and demeanor, able to follow uniform policy at all times.
- Flexibility: Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
