Salary & BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, and accident insurance.
Job DescriptionAs a Telehealth Counselor, you will oversee all aspects of patient care, from admission through discharge and follow-up. Your primary responsibility will be to promote performance improvement and service delivery by providing comprehensive psychological therapy to address the causes and effects of addiction.
You will also ensure the completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other essential documentation in accordance with federal and state standards and agency policies and procedures.
Required Skills & QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A CDCA or higher certification or licensure in Ohio
- Licensed Social Worker or higher licensure
- Licensed Professional Counselor or higher licensure
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or higher
Preferred qualifications include experience with dependency and/or medication-assisted treatment.
ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include:
- Counseling patients in crisis situations to help them cope and resolve issues
- Developing and increasing knowledge of federal, state, and agency regulations regarding confidentiality, methadone treatment, and substance abuse counseling certification
- Submitting internal and external correspondence for review and approval
- Secure necessary documentation from patients to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
- Attending team meetings and completing training courses timely as required
