Research Statistician

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our Department of Statistics at the University of Pittsburgh. The successful candidate will have a strong research agenda, a Ph.D. in statistics or a closely related field, and a proven track record of attracting external funding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a strong research program in statistics
• Teach undergraduate and graduate students in statistics and related fields
• Secure external funding to support research and academic programs

Requirements:

• Ph.D. in statistics or a closely related field
• Strong research agenda and publication record
• Ability to teach and mentor students
• Experience with securing external funding
