  • Ensuring all resident areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
  • Keeping utility and linen storage areas organized and tidy.
  • Distributing cleaned linens and articles as required.
  • Disinfecting and sterilizing tools and supplies.
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment; emptying waste receptacles as necessary.
  • Maintaining an adequate supply of housekeeping materials.
  • Utilizing cleaning chemicals in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Adhering to infection control protocols during cleaning processes.
  • Ensuring that cleaning equipment and housekeeping carts are safe, clean, and orderly.
  • Exhibiting and promoting exceptional customer service towards residents, family members, and visitors.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience or training is required, although it is preferred. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
  • Capability to read, write, analyze, and interpret information effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to respond to inquiries and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle objects and tools; must be able to reach with arms and hands.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 40 pounds may be necessary.
  • Ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions when required.
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials is a possibility.
