Senior Collector

At SkyOne Federal Credit Union, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Collector to join our team. As a key player in our mission to deliver meaningful financial solutions, you will play a vital role in managing impaired loans and safeguarding the credit union's assets.

• Coordinate with partners such as the Loan Service Center and external vendors to effectively reduce delinquency rates and enhance recoveries.
• Lead collection efforts through phone calls, letters, and skip tracing for delinquent accounts, ensuring prompt resolutions to member issues that arise.
• Prepare various delinquency reports and repossession worksheets for management's review, while driving repossession progress and maintaining accurate records.
• Foster a culture of performance and accountability while keeping abreast of compliance regulations.

• A minimum of three years of collection experience within a financial institution is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish to cater to our diverse member base.
• Practical knowledge of basic bankruptcy concepts, including Chapter 7 and 13.
• A firm grasp of DMV processes and compliance issues related to Real Estate, Consumer lending, and Collections.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
