About the Opportunity

Herdt Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to support an SAP sustainment phase in the Washington, DC Naval Yard area. This is a hybrid role with 60% on-site, 40% remote, and no non-local travel requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with government and contractor personnel to meet client needs.
  • Represent the manager at technical meetings, provide detailed notes, and make recommendations.
  • Coordinate with multiple personnel, balancing data collection with a professional demeanor.
  • Provide senior financial management support and financial analytics expertise.
  • Assist clients with collecting data from various sources, assessing responses, and developing a coordinated product.
  • Manage work completion within specified timeframes.
  • Prepare milestone status reports and presentations for clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in financial management or auditing.
  • Minimum of ten years of senior financial management experience with the Navy.
  • Secret Security Clearance.
  • DAWIA Level 3 certification in Business Financial Management or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable financial policies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD PPBE.
  • Experience with multiple appropriations.

Pay and Benefits

$70,000 - $140,000 USD per year.
