Job Summary:

Health Advocates Network is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide General Nursing Care: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, and prepare equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
  • Monitor Patient Conditions: Observe patient, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
  • Take Vital Signs: Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
  • Lead Healthcare Teams: May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients, and provide guidance and support to team members.

Requirements:

  • Valid RN License: A valid and current RN license issued by the state of IL is required.
  • CPR Certification: A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
  • English Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients, and the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English is required.
