Job Summary
The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist to provide patient treatments and document progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform selected tests and measurements as directed by the therapist to assess patient progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all treatments, including frequent and objective measurements, to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and safely before each use to prevent accidents and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
Experience
Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
Certifications
Required: State license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
